F300 is the speed for the Z-Axis
Second Line
G91 Set the position when the sensor touches the material to relative.

This is the very best addition I have made to my Xtool/devil1!
I have tremors in my hands and cannot feel my fingers… This auto focus has made it to where I do not have to touch my Module in order to focus… This is awesome!

Once set up it works flawlessly. I have been able to reduce power for cutting and reduce passes to accomplish clean cuts. This is a must have.

I have been testing this autofocus and feel I can finally leave a thorough review. To start with, the first one I ordered, the post office must have run over with a truck as it was heavily damaged on arrival. Daniel was quick to reprint a new one and get it to me within a week. The autofocus is a little technical to set up, but doable even for an artsy type person like me. Also, when I had questions, Daniel was quick to respond and walk me through the troubleshooting until it was fixed.
For the performance, it almost works perfectly to focus. There have been two to three times where a glitch on pushing the macro button the autofocus has ended up moving all the way to the top. I usually stop it and reboot the Devil1 and then it works normally. The real advantage that I find is on programming the steps down on each pass. I now can save a pass or two on cutting because the focus changes on each pass. If you’re going through something really thick, however, make sure to calculate the number of steps times the passes or the sensor may drag on the board. Not that I did that or anything….

This makes focus so much easier and exactly the same every time. I have it set up for two different laser heads.

I plan on purchasing this as soon as possible along with the devil1. Daniel’s eye and strive for perfection is why I will purchase from him. I’ll leave another review after I purchase
